Brandon Hammond Biography

Born in 1984, Brandon Hammond is a former child actor. He appeared in several movies and television series from 1991 to 2002. In his first film role, he played the younger version of the main character Caine in Menace II Society. Following this, he starred in Strange Days, Waiting to Exhale, The Fan, and Mars Attacks!. He played Micheal Jordan as a child in the film Space Jam. He appeared in the film Soul Food as Ahmad. For two of its six seasons, he had a recurring role on the television series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman playing the character of Anthony while simultaneously starring in the short-lived sitcom The Gregory Hines Show as Hines’ son. His last role was in the 2002 showtime film Our America.

He currently acts, directs and produces films. He didn’t grow up in the spotlight as most child actors do, and is recognized mostly for his former roles but he doesn’t mind at all. He feels privileged that people still recognize him even after so many years.
