The Regent’s International School, Bangkok is a day and boarding school for students aged 3 – 18. The school is guided by the English National Curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) leading to IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form.

Eligibility:

  • Students applying for Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, 2019 should be able to play an orchestral/musical instrument at an above average scale (at least ABRSM Grade 4 where applicable).
  • Applications sent singers who have a knowledge of how to play a musical/ instrument are also considered.
  • Music Scholarships at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, 2019 are applicable for students aged between 8-16.

Application Instructions:

  • Students applying for Music Scholarships must fill an application form electronically.
  • Applicants are requested to send in samples of performances in the form of Flash drive, CD, YouTube links along with the application form.
  • During audition:
    1. Applicants must play two contrasting pieces on their musical instrument for 5-10 minutes each.
    2. Students should read and play scales including major and minor keys in a range suitable for their instrument.
    3. Students must also undergo an interview with the Head of Music regarding their interest and experience.
