1.) Private Sector Engagement Analyst

Location: Lagos

Requirements
Education:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Social Policy, Public Policy, Politics, Development Studies, Statistics, Political Science, International Relations, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with additional  2 years of qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • 2 years (Master’s Degree) or 4 years (Bachelor’s Degree) work experience in private sector in national and international levels.
  • Experience in devising strategies, knowledge tools and guidance in relation to private sector and adapted to the economic context of the country.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) and web-based applications is required
  • Working knowledge of the private sector in Nigeria is an asset
  • Experience in working with private sector in relation to youth employment is an asset
  • Working knowledge of UN principles, SDGs and international development in Africa is an asset
  • Strong digital and data analytics skills is an asset
  • Demonstrate the ability to showcase cross-disciplinary and cross-functional experience and expertise.

2.) Impact Learning & Monitor Analyst

Location: Lagos

Deadline: 18th February, 2022

Requirements
Education:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Social Policy, Public Policy, Politics, Development Studies, Statistics, Political Science, International Relations or related field.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with additional 2 years of qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of the Masters’s degree.

Experience:

  • 2 years (Masters Degree) or 4 years (Bachelors Degree) of progressively responsible experience in programme management, design, monitoring, and learning is required.
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on projects/programmes funded by multiple donors and with political sensitivity is desirable.
  • Previous experience working within private sector institutions is desirable
  • Experience in gender analysis and gender mainstreaming is desirable
  • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software is desirable.
  • Strong inter-personal and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, as well as experienced in the handling of web-based management systems.

3.) Finance Analyst

Location: Abuja

Requirements
Education:

  • Advanced (Masters) University Degree in Finance / Accounting, Business or Public Administration, or a professional accounting qualification from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy.
  • Professionally qualified accountants from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy will have a distinct advantage.
  • Long-listed candidates may be required to undergo the UNDP Advanced Accountancy & Finance Test (AAFT).

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year’s relevant experience is desirable in providing financial management services, managing staff, and operational systems.
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems and ERP financials, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Experience of IPSAS and/or IFRS is required for external candidates.

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in International Development, Political Science or related courses.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive relevant experience in peacebuilding and conflict prevention or other relevant experience
  • Experience in provision of operational support to peacebuilding programmes, monitoring and evaluations at the national or international level is desirable
  • Experience working in Africa in peace and governance is an added advantage.

  • A first-level University Degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

  • A minimum of zero (0) year for MA and two (2) years for BA of progressively responsible experience in development research, data analytics;
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and ability for strong visualizations and representation of data;
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology, including expert knowledge of Excel;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills;
  • Prior experience with data analysis is an important asset;
  • Knowledge of and previous experience with data visualization and data visualization software is an asset;
